This Thursday, September 20th, from 3-7pm at the YMCA gym in Marion is a FREE event, open to the public. Community Marketplace, a Showcase of Grant County Businesses, is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the Chronicle Tribute, AEP, 106.9 Double XC, and others. It will have free samples at the food court, face painting, a bounce house for kiddos, giveaways (including a 32" TV), and a tour of Grant County Businesses.
And, if you haven't already, you can pick up a PASSPORT, which is great little book with 1000 things kids should do before they graduate high school.
This should be a fun community event, and I'm looking forward to it! Hope to see you there!
